The United States had the biggest economy since 1871. The ban on abortion is an economic move based on population control. It has as much to do with those reasons as banning slavery did for freeing blacks, or invading Afghanistan had to do with fighting for freedom. The abortion ban isn’t about “stopping murder” or “shackling women’s rights,” even though depending on what side you’re on, that’s what it seems to be about. Everything can be traced back to money and the desire to grow it because money = power. And when you are dealing with major fundamental issues it’s usually never the human element, whether emotional or otherwise, driving it.
As we’ve come to learn, nothing is what it seems.
